Experimentation

This week I have been focusing on my work for my body parts assignment. I have stuck with my idea of writing on the human body and tried to create meaningful words and phrases to work along side the body part that I am photographing.

I was really happy with my outcome in the end as they have tone and meaning about them; rather than the images just looking plain and as though I had purely taken them to meet my brief.

These are not my final edited images; but the start of the finished project. I need to make a few slight changes to some of the photographs to make sure that the phrases and the beauty of the body is the only thing attracting the viewers attention.
I think looking at the work of Tyler Shields and Tasya Van Ree have meant that I could push my work in a direction that I wouldn't have originally thought of. I am looking forward to printing them 58x58 cm big and allowing them to fill the gallery space with everyones work combined as one whole project.
