Trying Something New

I have been doing a lot of still life work with a brilliant photographer in London. He does a lot of advertising work and I wanted to try my hand at it in my own way.
I used the idea of advertising a product; in this case it was nail varnish but trying to put my own spin on it. Rather than presenting the product just in its normal state, I wanted to try include the liquid that was contained in the pots somewhere within the image.
In the end after much planned; I came up with this concept for my final images:
