So this weekend; I need to crack on with my body part assignment. I find this topic of photography very hard to work with as I struggle to work with lighting, when I am not completely in control of it. Maybe this is why I like the studio so much. Either way I have to start my work asap as we have such a short deadline. I have decided to take inspiration from the work of Tyler Shield's and I am going to start by using black body paint to write on particular body parts of my models. I haven't yet decided if it will be controversial wording or something a little more subtle. Either way the words will be painted on in bold black paint; to describe or entice the viewer. I felt that it was something new to take on as I normally have a very narrow view when it comes portraiture and body work.
These are just some of the images I have been looking at and using to plan ideas for my shoot. I like the idea of lips because it is something very sensual about a woman. I think it can tell you a lot about the person without seeing the whole body. I am not yet sure how they will feature within my work but it is something I am certain to play around with.
